About the Role

We're looking for a mid-level Architecture Analyst to join a leading Energy sector client based in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who bridges both the technical and analytical worlds supporting the architecture function, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks, and helping shape scalable, efficient solutions.

You'll work closely with senior architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to evaluate existing systems, document architectural standards, and contribute to solution designs across enterprise projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, documentation, and implementation of architectural solutions across multiple business domains.
  • Apply architecture principles and frameworks to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Perform technical and analytical assessments of existing systems to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical designs.
  • Contribute to governance and compliance reviews to maintain architectural integrity.
  • Prepare and maintain architecture-related artefacts such as solution overviews, data flow diagrams, and system mappings.
  • Support architecture decision-making with clear analysis, options, and recommendations.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (
    e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent
    ).
  • Experience in solution analysis and documenting technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and architectural compliance processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Prior experience in the energy, utilities, or large enterprise environment is highly desirable.
