Relight Your Care is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Werribee. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful, person-centred personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and medication support.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, and overall household management.
  • Support clients to participate in social, recreational, and community-based activities.
  • Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to foster social inclusion and wellbeing.
  • Monitor client safety and respond to emergencies according to policy and training requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with health professionals and families to implement tailored care plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in line with organisational standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Empathetic and patient communicator who values client choice, dignity, and independence.
  • Capable of working autonomously and as part of a supportive team environment.
  • Physically able to carry out care-related tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills and adaptability.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (desirable).
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are essential.
  • Relevant background checks and clearances, including:
  • Working with Children Check
  • Police Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Previous disability support or mental health experience is highly desirable.
