We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Program/Project Administrator with proven expertise in large-scale construction and renovation projects. This position is tailored for a professional with strong technical capabilities in advanced project management systems and internationally recognised certifications.
About the Role:
As a Program/Project Administrator, you will oversee the administration and delivery of construction and renovation projects, ensuring strict compliance with Australian and international standards. This role demands a detail-oriented and highly organised professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex contractual, scheduling, and compliance frameworks. You will be responsible for integrating advanced project management tools into the delivery process, while ensuring that all stakeholders – contractors, suppliers, and internal teams – are aligned with the project's objectives and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and coordinate the full lifecycle of construction and renovation projects, from initiation through execution to close-out.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including critical path analysis and performance tracking.
- Manage and control project documentation, contracts, and compliance records through Aconex.
- Conduct advanced project reporting and data visualisation using Microsoft Power BI, providing actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all project activities align with FIDIC/EPC contract frameworks, Australian Building Codes, and industry regulations.
- Undertake risk analysis and implement corrective measures to address schedule or cost variances.
- Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure contractual and operational alignment.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives in line with PMBOK project management standards and best practice.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in program/project administration within the construction and renovation industries, including successful delivery of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Recognised PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent (mandatory). - Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Aconex, and Microsoft Power BI (essential).
- Demonstrated experience managing projects under FIDIC/EPC contractual frameworks.
- Familiarity with ISO 21500 project management guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven ability to resolve contractual issues and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to provide high-level updates to executive management.
