Trueline Patios is seeking an experienced, qualified Carpenter to join our family-owned building company. You will ensure the successful completion of installations of custom designed carports, patios and decks. We take pride in every project we build for our customers from the very beginning until the final clean up. Our reputation has been built on our continued delivery of high-quality outdoor living spaces including Patios – Opening Roofs – Carports & Pergolas, in addition to our world-class customer service offering.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Carpenter
  • Experience in Working at heights, Metal work, House eave removal and reinstatement and general roofing
  • Ability to interpret and build with detailed construction plans
  • Preparation of materials, including metal and timber cutting
  • Must have minimum 2 years' experience in deck construction
  • Able to travel and work at our Central Queensland location as and when required
  • Assist with problem solving repairs of existing fittings and rectification works
  • Erecting framework, panelised systems and roof framing
  • Able to work without supervision and can lead build teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering patio, carport and decking construction projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices
  • Proven customer service record dealing directly with customers
  • Excellent time management, planning and communication skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be able to demonstrate high level carpentry skills, including custom angles and finishes including install of polycarbonate and heritage timber infill works
  • Valid driver's licence and Construction White Card
  • Must have own set of tools and reliable trade vehicle
