About the role
As the Vegetation Services Manager, you will:
- Oversee the financial and operational management of vegetation programs, ensuring compliance with the Electricity Act 1996 and associated regulations.
- Provide leadership to the vegetation work group, promoting a vision and culture that drives productivity and business success.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and prioritise work programs that meet business and legislative obligations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and contractors to improve customer service and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and manage contractor performance to ensure work is delivered safely, meets quality standards, and complies with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in vegetation management practices.

About you
We're seeking a leader who:
- Has proven experience in managing operational programs, preferably in vegetation management or a related field.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
- Is knowledgeable about regulatory compliance, particularly under the Electricity Act 1996 and its regulations.
- Excels in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, both internally and externally.
- Has a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Is skilled in contractor management and performance oversight.
- Foster a strong safety culture by setting clear expectations and supporting consistent safety practices across Vegetation Services.
