Role Description

This is a part time/full time on-site role for a Reservations Coordinator/Host located in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. The role consists of
20-40 hours per week on a casual basis, start and finish times will fluctuate. Evening and weekend work required, however, the owners are flexible and happy to work around other commitments.

The Reservations Coordinator will be responsible for managing and processing reservations, providing excellent customer service, handling sales inquiries, organising staff, ordering meals with restaurant. The professional will also perform receptionist and host duties such as answering phones, preparing food and drinks, greeting & seating customers, getting cruises underway, setting up for next cruise.

Day-to-day tasks include interacting with customers via phone, email and in person, coordinating bookings, confirming details, setting gondola's, welcoming customers, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Reservations and Sales preferred
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality or tourism is beneficial
