WesTrac has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the team at Tomago
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this role will see you joining a small team of Plant Mechanics, Apprentices and Trades Assistants that specialise in civil and construction equipment. With a strong mechanical background and previous CAT knowledge you will hit the ground running. Your day-to-day may range from performing rebuilds of machinery components, replacing worn or damaged parts or conducting repairs covered under warranty agreements.

Roster & Remuneration
- Monday to Friday roster, two weeks day shift followed by two weeks night shift
- Annual earnings from $125,000 to $160,000*
*Rates above are a guide only and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience
Skills & Experience
- Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification with Caterpillar experience
- OEM Experience (highly desirable)
- Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Current drivers licence
