About the role
The Student Operations Administration Officer plays a key role in delivering high-level administrative and organisational support to the Apprenticeship Team. This position is responsible for facilitating effective engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including Apprentices, Trainees, and Employers.
The Student Operations Administration Officer serves as a key support resource for staff and educators across TAFE Gippsland, providing guidance on apprenticeship and traineeship matters. From initial enquiry through to program completion, the role ensures a consistent focus on delivering a positive and seamless student experience.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated effectiveness and success in a multi-faceted administration role.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and to plan and prioritise work tasks to ensure timelines are met with a strong student focus and commitment to high quality work.
- High level of initiative with an ability to operate positively and flexibly within a team environment and contribute to the prioritisation and achievement of goals and objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to establish effective working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels to motivate and gain co-operation from other staff and relevant external contacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to produce high level and professional documents.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using student management systems to support operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Experience in working in education, or the TAFE Sector in administration is highly desirable
Mandatory requirements
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police check (no older than 12 months)
- Current Driver's Licence (some travel between campuses may be required)
