We're seeking a reliable, organised, and hands-on Records Administration / Warehouse Operator to join our team at The DocShop. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service, perfect for someone who thrives on structured, active work.
About the Role:
• Full-time: Monday to Friday, business hours
• A 4-day work week may be considered for the right candidate
• On-call roster outside business hours
• Based across our Morwell and Traralgon facilities
• Involves regional and metro driving for record deliveries and pickups
• This is a physically active role that includes lifting archive boxes, operating forklifts, and order picking.
• You'll also be responsible for accurate data entry, scanning, indexing, and maintaining inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Archive, retrieve, and deliver physical and electronic records
• Operate forklifts and order pickers (manual handling required)
• Use inventory/records management systems to catalogue and track records
• Respond to phone and email enquiries professionally
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
What You'll Need:
• LF forklift licence (mandatory)
• LO (order picker) licence – highly regarded
• If you do not hold an LO licence, training will be provided for the right candidate
• Current driver's licence – confident with both metro and regional driving
• Experience using inventory or records management software (preferred)
• Current police check or willingness to obtain one
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to safety and process
