Medical Receptionist General practice

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced medical receptionist to join our dynamic team at LCFMP.

Lane Cove Family Medical Practice is a well-established practice providing care for families in Lane Cove for over 35 years. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients, we'd love to hear from you.

The position on offer is a permanent part time position 3 days per week. We pay above award wages.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a medical general practice- minimum 1 year.
• Familiarity with medical software, especially Best Practice
• Provide excellent patient care in a welcoming and calm manner in a busy environment.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
• Work as a team to ensure smooth patient flow and overall practice efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a warm, caring, and compassionate manner.
• Smooth and efficient daily front desk operations, with strong proficiency in handling phone calls, addressing patient needs, managing triage, and coordinating the appointment scheduling system.
• General practice billing procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong customer service skills with a dynamic and positive attitude
• Excellent IT and time management skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work with precision, honesty, and integrity
• Work rights in Australia
