Exciting Contractor Mobile Dietitian Position in Sydney.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate dietitian to join our team.

The position would best suit a dietitian that is looking to increase their current caseload and ideally a dietitian who is enthusiastic, has excellent organisational skills and a passion for helping individuals achieve their health goals. This role will suit someone who enjoys engaging with patients one on one, has an interest in chronic disease and obesity management, a dietitian who has the ability to work on their own, and a passion for delivering one on one client nutrition and dietetic education, counselling and plans. This position involves conducting one-on-one nutrition consultations within a patient's home; locations vary all across Sydney. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, organised and friendly dietitian who enjoys working with people to help them achieve their health goals. You will be paid for report writing and most travel.

Hours: varies 1-4 patients per month

Location: home visits across Sydney and Greater Sydney

· Car required to drive to various home visit locations across Sydney

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting dietary assessments on patients, and providing patients with nutritional education and advice

  2. Home visits consultations will involve patients with Home Care Packages, through My Aged Care, DVA, private patients, NDIS participants etc.

  3. Home visit consultations involving assessments and report writing (travel paid for most home visit consultations)

Essential Criteria:

  1. Masters or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics.

  2. Member of DAA.

  3. Full APD status.

  4. A current police check (or willingness to obtain)

  5. Medicare Registration

  6. Professional indemnity insurance and ABN (or willingness to obtain)

  7. NDIS registration or willingness to obtain

  8. Current driver licence and own car.

  9. A passion for weight management, diabetes and CVD.

  10. A passion for conducting home visits and building rapport with clients

  11. Enthusiasm, passion and motivation

  12. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and empathetically to a diverse group of patients with differing backgrounds, lifestyles, incomes and education levels.
