About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead our membership team in a purpose-driven role. Using your commercial acumen, you'll grow our member base, strengthen engagement and build relationships across the medical community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies to grow and retain membership
  • Promote membership to doctors and convert to members
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including medical student councils, RMOAs, Hospital JMO units, medical staff councils and other associations
  • Present on behalf of the Association and establish relationships with stakeholders
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional member experiences
  • Manage the membership recruitment and retention process including ensuring appropriate performance standards for membership responsiveness
  • In conjunction with other managers, develop marketing campaigns and materials

  • Develop commercial membership opportunities relevant to driving membership benefit

  • About You

  • Proven experience in membership, ideally in a medical or association setting
  • Strong communicator and relationship building skills
  • Skilled in brand management and team leadership
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Drivers Licence
