**About the role
Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide high quality evidence based clinical management, treatment and care to patients requiring obstetrics and Gynaecology services within the Women's and Newborn Service Line at the RBWH. This care will be provided within the scope of practice granted by MNH Credentialling.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
To take clinical responsibility for the medical care of allocated patients referred to the Women's and Newborn Service at the RBWH
Each team will participate in daily ward rounds of their Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients and the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the team's ward round roster. It would be expected that a successful candidate reviews seriously ill patients and consultations in between ward rounds whenever it was thought necessary.
To provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services to the RBWH as determined by the Clinical Director, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Services.
Provide a consultant service as required for patients of other senior medical staff and be an active participant in the clinical activities of the Women's and Newborn Service.
