About Your Role
As a Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics, you will provide expert clinical care and leadership across a range of surgical specialties at Redland Hospital. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective and compassionate patient care.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Delivering high-quality anaesthetic services across diverse clinical areas.
• Supervising and mentoring registrars, junior doctors and medical staff.
• Supporting education, training and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participating in the on-call roster and extended hours as needed.
• Contributing to clinical governance, safety, and service development.

About You
You are a motivated and collaborative Anaesthetist with a passion for clinical excellence and education.

Your Skills And Experience Include

• Specialist registration (FANZCA or equivalent) with AHPRA.
• Proven experience providing anaesthesia across a broad range of surgical specialties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor and support clinical staff.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
• Ability to contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful workplace culture.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs.
