About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team in delivery of high-quality patient services within their scope of clinical practice granted by the Credentialing Committee(s) in the hospital(s) and MNHHS facilities in which you perform this work. Provide high quality medical care in association with other consultant medical staff.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Treat patients and their families with courtesy and sympathy and treat all hospital staff and professional colleagues with courtesy and respect.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and practices are consistent with contemporary best practice, Professional College, Queensland and National standards.
  • Perform other provisions related to the duties of the Medical Officer as agreed by the parties.
  • Participate in an annual performance and development review.
  • Ensure clinical records and practices fully comply with Queensland Health and Metro North HHS regulations.
