About the role

We are seeking a vibrant and friendly Host to join our team at Promenade Bondi Beach. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed as they walk through our doors. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, managing reservations, and coordinating the seating arrangements for our restaurant & front yard. If you are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring a warm, hospitable experience.
  • Manage reservations and seating plans efficiently to optimise dining flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless communication and efficient seating arrangements.
  • Handle guest questions or concerns with a positive attitude, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods and ensure timely communication with guests.

About you

  • Previous experience in a host or customer service role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
