Optical Mechanic / Optical Dispenser

JuzVision- is looking for an enthusiastic optical mechanic and/or optical dispenser with a passion for optics, an ability to work independently and as part of our small, dedicated team.

We are looking for someone who would like to feel supported in their own growth and development; who is also committed to the vision and growth of our company. We have recently formed some exciting new partnerships and are looking to steadily grow our business over the upcoming months and years.

The key responsibilities for this position are:


• Ordering lenses


• Fitting lenses


• Edging lenses for a variety of frame types, including metal, nylon, and shell designs


• Tracing & Quality control


• Managing workflow


• High attention to detail, precision and commitment to quality finish


• An ability to adapt to change and be flexible

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience in fitting lenses, edging lenses & tracing lenses
  • Computer literacy with experience working with Optical Practice Management Software ie Optomate

Work Eligibility:

  • Unrestricted right to work in Australia
  • Ability to pass standard background checks if required
