Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst is a key and active participant of the Emergency Communication Information Services (ECIS) team.

The goal of the function is to implement and maintain best practice business analysis competencies, ensuring consistent methodology application, and building team capability to support departmental project delivery and service improvement initiatives.

The main purpose of the role is to:

Play a critical role in translating business needs into actionable requirementsFacilitate stakeholder engagementEnsure the successful delivery of projects that enhance service deliveryDeliver high-quality business analysis services while supervising business analyst direct reports

As part of the ECIS team you may be required to travel or transfer between your primary work location and other TZV sites to effectively perform your duties. Normal working hours are 38 hours per week between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday. You may be required to participate in an on-call roster and may be required to work reasonable overtime. 

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

Current and relevant business analysis professional certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent)Extensive progressive business analysis experience in complex organisational environmentsDemonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience with at least two years managing staffProven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validationExperience facilitating workshops, stakeholder consultations, and process improvement initiativesDemonstrated experience in project delivery within structured project management frameworksDemonstrates accountability and adaptability, whilst taking ownership of work outcomes and team performance
