The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Talent this position is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process that identifies, sources and sustains employment opportunities at St Vincent's for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Providing specialist advice, including the design and delivery of effective talent acquisition exercises and programs, initiatives and programs is key.

  • Guiding and mentoring to ensure cultural safety considerations are at the forefront of St Vincent's Talent Acquisition practices, with a focus on supporting recruitment outcomes across our New South Wales locations
  • Strategically sourcing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates and maintaining an active candidate pipeline to meet future hiring needs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, confident using all Microsoft programs (including excel), Teams, knowing your way around recruitment systems and the importance of why using standardised templates and communications is key to quality, consistent service
  • Ideally you have successful held an internal, TA / Recruitment position in a large, multisite organisation or as relevant in a recruitment agency / job network
  • Your demonstrated skills will include managing the end-to-end recruitment process, behavioural interview techniques, creating job ads and exploring appropriate advertising streams, strategic sourcing know-how including passive market and head hunting, SEEK Talent searching, connecting with Community and TAFE to source future talent, application screening, shortlisting, scheduling of interviews, hiring recommendation, offer negotiation, recruitment administration and so on
