As a result of a secured engagement with one of our National Security partners, Helix requires an Azure Technical Lead to join us on a long-term contract (12 months with expected extensions).

We're looking for a Technical Lead with proven experience of hands-on technology leadership, who thrives in delivering complex technology initiatives (ideally highly available, secure and modular digital platforms) and large transformation programs.

Working in a high performing team the ideal candidate will have the ability to switch between solution architecture and hands-on tech development. Leveraging technology patterns (azure) to sustain the platform and drive it forward whilst adopting enterprise architecture better practice principles. 

Technical Lead key responsibilities:

  • Leading the maintenance/support of the platform in Prod.
  • Driving technical strategy for customer and developing the technical architecture strategy to support the goals of the customer users, to handle new requirements.
  • Lead all security aspect of the platform to comply with requirements (IRAP, ISM, PSPF, E8)
  • Architect and evolve the core tech (Azure) stack for the platform
  • Maintain and evolve application & infrastructure as the solution scales
  • Manage 3rd parties and external vendors (in regards to tech integration)
  • NV1 clearance is a minimum requirement for this environment

Technical Lead essential experience & capability:

  • MS Azure
  • MS Azure App Service(s)
  • MS Azure ESB
  • MS REDIS
  • MS SQL
  • MS Azure Monitor, Insight, Sentinel, Defender
  • SharePoint, PowerBI, SSIS/SSRS
  • MS Remote Desktop (RDS)
  • Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Azure Key Vault

Technical Lead desirable experience:

  • Previous experience leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver clear business outcomes
