Are you ready to take ownership and lead transformation in a dynamic finance environment? We're strengthening our Group Finance Reporting team and looking for a proactive leader who thrives on improving processes, delivering high-quality reporting, and engaging with stakeholders across diverse teams and contributing to projects that make a real impact.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Group Head of Finance, you'll manage consolidated group financial processes and reporting, while driving change initiatives and automations. You'll work closely with Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and Cash Operations to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reporting across the group.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own month-end close, consolidation, and reporting dashboards.
  • Deliver accurate board reporting, budgets, and forecasts with insightful commentary.
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
  • Lead projects to improve processes, including automation and bringing trust accounting in-house.
  • Support ad hoc strategic tasks for senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting skills (Australian GAAP & IFRS).
  • Proven experience in finance management, trust accounting, and process improvements.
  • Background in retail finance or Big 4 experience highly regarded.
  • Skilled in ERP systems (e.g. Sage Intacct) and comfortable managing and adapting to change.
  • Collaborative leader with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset
