About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced NDT Technician to join our team for a combination of workshop and site-based work across Western Australia. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple non-destructive testing methods and preferably have experience in Lifting & Rigging inspections, including MPI on lifting lugs, frames, and structural components.

This hands-on role offers diverse project exposure across various sites and strong support for professional development and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct NDT inspections (MPI, PT, VT, ET – UT is advantageous) on a range of components, including lifting and rigging equipment
  • Perform visual and surface inspection of structural elements, mechanical parts, and fabricated assemblies
  • Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports in line with Australian Standards, DNV, and NATA requirements
  • Work both independently and as part of a team across remote site-based and local workshop environments
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards across all work activities

Essential Requirements

  • Level II NDT Certification in VT, MT, PT, ET (UT desirable)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, and White Card
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards, DNV, and NATA protocols
  • Ability to travel to remote sites when required
  • Strong report writing and communication skills

Desirable (Bonus)

  • UT Certification
  • Current FMG and/or RTIO Inductions
  • Experience working within a NATA-accredited environment
  • HRWL (Dogging, Rigging)
  • Strong experience in lifting and rigging inspections
  • First line management supervisory skills.
