Our work involves accessing and performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs in locations that are difficult to reach — using specialised techniques such as rope access, advanced rigging, elevated work platforms, confined space operations, and fall protection systems.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking skilled, motivated, and safety-conscious Access Technicians to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive on challenge, enjoy variety in their work, and are committed to achieving excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform industrial rope access and advanced rigging operations.
• Install and operate fall protection systems, swing stages, and elevated work platforms.
• Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair work in confined spaces and at height.
• Contribute to team planning, job resourcing, and execution.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting.
• Apply trade skills (Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, etc.), lifting and rigging operations, and NDT testing where applicable.

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• Previous experience in access and rescue operations, rope access, or related fields.
• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
• The ability to work well in a team environment and also independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
• A trade qualification and/or High-Risk Work Licences.
• Experience in planning, supervising, or leading teams (Desirable).
• A desire to lead and create a positive work culture, motivating those around you to perform at their best.

Qualifications & Certifications

To be successful in this role, you will hold or be willing to obtain the following:

Essential:

• Industrial Rope Access Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (IRATA, SPRAT or equivalent)
• Working at Heights certification (RIIWHS204E or equivalent)
• Confined Space Entry certification (RIIWHS202E or equivalent)
• Vertical Rescue certification
• Confined Space Rescue Certification
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Relevant Trade Qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication, Building, etc.)

High-Risk Work Licences:

• Rigging (RB, RI, RA)
• Dogging (DG)
• EWP (WP)
• Personnel & Materials Hoist (HP)
• NDT Certifications (PT, UT, MT, VT)
• Supervisor/Leadership Training (G1, G8, G9 or equivalent)
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Experience working in heavy industry environments
