The Business

We are a dynamic and innovative value-added distributor specialising in power quality and power protection products for critical environments. While our brand is relatively new (established in 2023), our management and core team bring decades of combined experience in the Critical Environment space, enabling us to serve the market effectively. Owing to our strong growth, we now want to offer our range of products to the IT reseller and service provider market. We prioritise delivering value for our partners and vendors by investing in them and forging long-term relationships rather than pursuing high-volume sales only.

The Role

If you are highly motivated and disciplined with experience in recruiting and managing partners from the IT channel ecosystem, then this role is for you. We are offering a unique opportunity for a self-starter to play a key role in building and nurturing our partner relationships across the IT landscape.

You will be instrumental in driving business growth by promoting quality vendors together with our partners to increase market share and drive profitable growth for our ecosystem. You will spend your time, recruiting partners onto our best-in-class channel program, enabling them and ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed with our products.

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner Recruitment:
    Actively identify, recruit, and onboard new partners.
  • Program Promotion:
    Promote and manage our channel programs to drive partner engagement.
  • Training & Activation:
    Deliver training modules and product activation sessions for partners.
  • Pipeline Generation:
    Work collaboratively with partners to generate and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Sales & Closure:
    Close sales with and through partners to achieve revenue targets.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a highly articulate and energetic individual with a passion for building partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, disciplined, and a reliable team player with high integrity and demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Proven ability to nurture and manage partners, with a track record of demonstrating mutual growth.
  • Experience with promoting and managing channel programs.
  • Achieving sales targets and growing their active partner base.
  • A mature network of contacts within the IT reseller market, particularly in the medium enterprise space.
  • Demonstrable experience in building sales plans and executing call plans.
  • Proficiency in using popular CRM platforms and diligence for sales activity reporting.
  • Experience in channel marketing.
  • Previous work experience in IT distribution will be ideal.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Number of partners contacted.
  • Number of partners signed to the program.
  • Number of partners trained on key modules.
