Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Finance Director to refine financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and uphold compliance, driving both efficiency and alignment with corporate policies
- Oversee and perform accounting, statutory and management reporting, as well as FP&A activities for the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance relative regulatory requirements (ANZ GAAP & IFRS)
- Contribute to financial strategy development, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strong financial governance.
- Analyse and project financial data, turning insights into actionable recommendations for operational and executive decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to manage audits and ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, payroll tax, and all other statutory obligations across ANZ.
- Work closely with global finance teams to enhance transparency, streamline processes, and strengthen cross-border collaboration.
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in line with local legislation.
- Adapt responsibilities and priorities as the Finance Department's structure and strategic direction evolve.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including team management.
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is highly advantageous.
- Experience in financial consolidation will be well regarded.
- Exposure to the FMCG sector and/or multinational environments preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and sustain productive partnerships.
- Skilled in prioritising and delegating tasks to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
- High standards of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
