The Role: Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure

We're expanding our team of top-tier Engineers, driving impact across multiple high-profile projects in Australia. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions while mentoring junior engineers and engaging with key stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

  • Design & Implement CI/CD Pipelines – Build and maintain pipelines using Azure DevOps with integration into enterprise-scale projects.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation – Deliver scalable, automated infrastructure with Terraform, driving efficiency and consistency.
  • Azure Cloud Platform Engineering – Architect and optimize Azure landing zones, ensuring security, scalability, and resilience.
  • Observability & Operations – Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimization across cloud environments.
  • Security & Compliance – Apply security best practices across IAM, networking, and compliance frameworks to safeguard environments.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with developers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to align delivery with outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline design, automation, and release management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services including networking, identity, and cost optimization.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or AKS for containerized application delivery.
  • Familiarity with observability tooling and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
