Quad Care is a growing organisation specialising in community support services, in the Moreton Bay Region (from Burpengary to Woodford).

Your role as a part of the Quad Care team is to provide informed, meaningful and respectful supports to our clients, inclusive of their family and community networks.
Experience supporting people who live with Dementia, ASD, ADHD and/or intellectual disability 1:1 is highly desirable. Experience supporting clients with personal care needs is preferable.

Requirements of the role
To provide quality support for HIGH INTENSITY clients with an intellectual disability, Dementia, Cerebral Palsy, ASD and/or OCD. You will be working closely with the clients and their families in their own home.
You may be required to assist with a wide range of daily activities, such as:
General housekeeping
Domestic assistance
Sleepover shifts
Community access and participation
Reorientation and redirection
Transport
Must haves as a part of the Quad Care team
Emotional intelligence, resilience and the ability to be responsive to the changing needs of the people we support.
Experience with clients who have high intensity needs such a emotional and physical behaviours.
Genuine and reliable with respect for client choice.
Respect for the privacy of our clients and to maintain strict client confidentiality.
Current unrestricted drivers license.
Ability to be able to use technology (apps) for case notes and time sheet requirements.
Capability in a physically demanding role which may include lifting, bending, carrying, crouching etc.

In the interest of our clients, company, and your safety you must have:
First Aid/ CPR
Own reliable transport (and the ability to produce registration, maintenance and insurance documentation as required).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or consent to Criminal History Screening Prior to engagement
Current Drivers Licence

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent experience
