Reception & Administration – Full-Time at The Yanchep Inn

We're looking for an enthusiastic, dependable and well-presented Reception & Administration team member to join us at The Yanchep Inn.

The Inn is currently experiencing significant growth, and this newly created role will play a central part in supporting our team as we expand.

This is a key position within the business and ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of their role and grow with us long-term.


About the Role
  • Full-time: 5 days per week, 8:00am–4:00pm (set days off negotiated)
  • Majority of weekends required
  • Assist the opening manager from 8:00–10:00am until front-of-house staff arrive
  • Own the reception and administration hub of the business
  • Work closely with experienced managers and be part of a supportive, hands-on team

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check guests in/out
  • Answer phones and respond to emails
  • Print daily housekeeping reports and assist with room allocation
  • Enter bookings into RMS and manage restaurant bookings via NowBookIt
  • Order stationery, cleaning, and housekeeping supplies
  • Assist the manager with room checks when needed
  • Help on wedding & function days — support bridal parties in the lead-up and on the day
  • Maintain reception and office presentation
  • Assist front-of-house during busy periods (e.g. making coffee, seating guests)
  • Manage the members database and general administrative support

  • Friendly, confident communicator with strong customer service skills
  • Well presented, with pride in personal appearance
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable with booking and POS systems (experience with RMS and NowBookIt a bonus)
  • Calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and available to work weekends as part of your regular roster
  • Hospitality or admin experience is highly desirable
  • A team player who's keen to grow and learn
