The Role

Join a well-coordinated care team supporting a long-term NDIS participant with complex neurological and psychosocial support needs. You'll provide a mix of:

  • Personal care and daily living assistance
  • Emotional support and companionship
  • Domestic assistance and community access
  • Safe manual handling and documentation

Note: This role involves personal care for a female participant who has requested a female support worker.

You'll be great in this role if you have

  • Experience in mental health support (psychosocial disability)
  • NSW Driver Licence and your own insured vehicle
  • Current Checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR
  • Reliable availability in the Drummoyne area

Highly regarded

  • Experience supporting people living with schizophrenia
  • Manual Handling and Behaviour Support training
  • Confidence with care plans, incident reporting and team communication
