About ICAP

ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.

We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates.

For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades

Role Overview

Responsible for assisting brokers in managing client relationships, leveraging all broking opportunities, closing deals and ensuring details of trades are accurately captured. Assisting in the development and dissemination of "market intelligence and analysis" and helping to support Senior brokers in the development of price and market delivery services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Helping to maintain and develop existing client relationships.
  • Assist in the identification of prospective new clients and engage where deemed appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the products and markets in which we participate.
  • Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of "market intelligence and analysis" and helping to support Senior brokers in the development of price and market delivery services
  • Gain full operational knowledge and understanding of the "trade lifecycle"
  • Understand the desk's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients
  • Assisting in the on-boarding new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team
  • Leverage both product and client understanding to Identify internal cross selling opportunities
  • Ensure all market communication is on recorded mediums approved by the company
  • Understand pertinent regulation within the evolving regulatory landscape
  • Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with group policies
  • Exercise independent judgement and act with integrity, care, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate.
