Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our high performing broking team in either our Melbourne or Sydney office. Reporting to the Client Director - Construction & Marine, the successful candidate will be accountable for the effective management of a well-established and successful portfolio of clients, as well as identifying growth and business development opportunities to drive further success in EBM's portfolio. Key areas of accountability include:

  • Building and maintaining productive client relationships
  • Building and maintaining strong market relationships
  • Identifying and developing new business prospects through cross-marketing
  • Proactive management of client renewal programs and claims
  • Resolving client enquiries and acting as a key point of contact

Your Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • Sound product knowledge across construction or marine insurance, with exposure to all lines of general broking
  • Knowledge of legislative obligations
  • Extensive client facing experience
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Claims management and settlement negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills, engaging effectively at all levels
