About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ICT Operations Officer to support the Public Trustee's ICT infrastructure and operations and deliver solutions critical to securing the business. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, risk management capability, and a focus on continuous improvement.

The ASO5 ICT Operations Officer will be responsible for the following:

• Action and resolve user support calls (Incidents and service requests).

• Oversee vendor quality and productivity according to vendor contracts and performance agreements.

• Help strengthen the security posture of systems and services, develop administration processes and standard operating procedures.

• Design, apply and maintain specific ICT Operational controls as required by organisational policy and risk assessments.

• Implement ICT operational projects and initiatives, in accordance with internal project management frameworks and practices.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Specialist understanding of ICT operations and applications within a service delivery environment.

• Demonstrated experience in undertaking ICT Operational Governance, Risk and Compliance related activities.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively drive the delivery of ICT Operational services and systems and successfully deliver outcomes for the agency.

• Excellent written, verbal and business engagement skills including negotiation, consultation, and the ability to influence and gain cooperation.

• Technical support expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure and application maintenance.

About the Business

The Office of the Public Trustee (Public Trustee) operates as part of the Attorney-General's Department and was established on 1 January 1881, under the Public Trustee Act 1995 (SA). It offers services to South Australians, including will preparation, powers of attorney, and administration of deceased estates and trusts.

The Public Trustee is also responsible for managing the personal, legal, and financial affairs of individuals who are unable to handle these matters on their own. At the heart of our work is our commitment to protecting the wishes and interests of those we serve.
