About the role:

In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.

At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday.  Roster details are below:

Week 1:

Thursday: 3pm - 9pm (6 hours)

Friday: 7:30am - 9:30am & 2:45pm - 8:30pm (7.75 hours)

Monday: 2:45pm - 8:30pm (5.75 hours)

Tuesday: 7am - 9:30am (2.5 hours)

Wednesday: 7:30am - 9:30am (2 hours)

Week 2:

Friday: 7am - 9:30am (2.5 hours)

Tuesday: 7am - 9:30am (2.5 hours)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
  • Employee Working with Children Check (Victorian)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License
  • Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
