Role Description/Criteria

This is a 0.4, fixed term position beginning for a Year 1 Classroom for December 2025.

The successful applicant must be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or be willing to undertake Accreditation studies and be able to demonstrate:

  • a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education

  • a commitment to learning and continuous improvement

  • an ability to work as part of a professional learning team and a commitment to engaging in professional dialogue

  • a willingness to embrace contemporary learning and teaching practices

  • an ability to incorporate Digital Technology skills into the classroom

  • the ability to gather, analyse and use data to improve teacher practice and student outcomes

This position is currently being offered for 2025 only.

Special Requirements

The successful applicant must:

  • hold current VIT Registration, Provisionally registered or have Permission to teach (PTT)

  • have a strong knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and commitment to child safety

  • complete the attached 'Application for Employment' form and an introductory letter and resume (with the contact details of 3 referees) to the Principal - Vince Bumpstead by 4 pm Monday September 22 .
