About the Team
The Governance and Performance team plays a critical role in enabling the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) to deliver its objectives with confidence, integrity, and measurable impact. By integrating governance, risk management, planning, and performance frameworks, the team ensures QRA operates in alignment with legislative requirements, government priorities, and organisational goals.
Through structured oversight, transparent reporting, and proactive risk management, the team supports informed decision-making, prioritisation, and continuous improvement. Our focus is on making governance accessible and practical, fostering a culture where compliance and accountability are embedded into QRA's operations, and empowering teams across the organisation to achieve meaningful outcomes for Queensland communities.
About the Role
- Support the definition and review of key performance indicators to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Design, and coordinate development and maintenance of strategic and operational dashboards and performance reports aligned with QRA's priorities.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data from business areas to support decision-making.
- Maintain the enterprise initiatives register to track and visualise organisational priorities and progress.
- Prepare briefings, insights, and trend analysis for the Executive Leadership Team and other governance groups.
- Facilitate the intake and assessment of new initiatives as part of the annual planning cycle.
- Support the application of prioritisation frameworks (e.g., Must, Should, Could, Won't (MoSCoW) risk/benefit quadrants) to assist in decision-making.
- Monitor alignment of planning and performance reporting with Performance Management Framework and Queensland Audit Office performance expectations.
- Provide advice on data interpretation, reporting improvements, and integration of performance data into planning processes.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of reported information.
- Support quarterly and mid-year reporting cycles, including visualisation of performance risks and progress against strategic goals.
- Contribute to organisational maturity assessments and reporting on findings to support continuous improvement.
- This role reports to the Manager, Governance and Performance.
