Join a vital program developed in response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence (Victoria), aimed at strengthening the AOD sector's capacity to identify and respond to family violence. This role supports the implementation of Recommendations 98 and 99 by embedding specialist family violence expertise within AOD services to enhance early intervention, promote consistent service responses, and improve collaboration across sectors.
The Advisor will provide expert guidance and support to AOD workers within their catchment area, helping them to recognise and appropriately respond to clients who are either experiencing or perpetrating family violence.

In addition to a salary equivalent to SCHADS Level 6 + super, you can access the following.

You will hold a tertiary qualification in a health or welfare related discipline. You will also bring with you:
- Relevant qualifications that meet the Department's AOD Minimum Qualification Strategy (MQS) requirements.
- Ideally holds a degree in Social Work or a related community services discipline.
- Demonstrated experience required to effectively fulfil the role's responsibilities. (Insert specific essential experience here, e.g., working in AOD services, family violence response, etc.
- Preferred (but not essential) experience that would support success in the role. (Insert preferred experience here, e.g., experience in cross-sector collaboration, case management, etc.)
