Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Nectar Brands Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Elevate Your Nursing Career with Nectar

Nectar Brands is a leading healthcare house of brands at the forefront of Digital Health and Alternative Medicine in Australia. Recognised as Australia's #8 fastest-growing startup in 2023 by The Australian Financial Review, our portfolio includes digital health and medicinal cannabis brands, with ongoing expansion. Committed to excellence in research, development, and the delivery of world class healthcare services and products, we are pioneering and defining what high-quality digital healthcare solutions and alternative therapeutics look and feel like for the well-being of Australian patients.

About the Role

Further your career in a position that's more than just a job. Join our team and play a central role within Nectar's digital clinics, where you'll ensure every patient receives safe, compliant, and compassionate care. Acting as the clinical anchor of the care team, you'll guide patients through their health journey — from intake and triage to treatment and follow-up — with a strong emphasis on personalised care, education, and trust-building.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll conduct patient triage and provide assessments, support treatment planning, and guide patients in understanding and managing their care. You'll offer ongoing support to ensure patients feel confident, safe, and well looked after throughout their health journey

Your expertise will also make you a respected link between patients and doctors — assisting with complex cases, addressing symptoms or side effects, and collaborating with both internal and external healthcare professionals. With specialised knowledge in evolving treatment pathways, you'll deliver accurate, compliant, and individualised guidance, while fostering long-term patient trust and loyalty.

About You

If you're a Registered Nurse with over 4+ years of healthcare experience, fueled by a genuine passion for patient care, problem-solving, and taking ownership of your work, we want you on our team.

Adaptability is your second nature, and you're excited about building your career within a national digital health organisation. You've got a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication and writing skills, and you're committed to achieving the best for your patients.

You've got previous experience in a GP clinic or sub-acute clinical setting, can conduct thorough patient assessments, maintain accurate records, and are comfortable with various computer systems.

This is a full-time position (5 days per week) based in Hawthorn, Victoria. Salary commensurate with experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide patient triage, assessments, care planning, and follow-up throughout the treatment journey.
  • Deliver clear, compassionate patient education and support to build trust and engagement.
  • Collaborate with doctors, pharmacists, and the patient care team to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Support the training and development of nursing and care staff to strengthen capability and raise standards.

Required Competencies & Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Demonstrated experience in patient assessment, triage, and care planning.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical best practice, patient safety, and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to provide clear, compassionate patient education and support.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and colleagues.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using digital health platforms or electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Desirable

  • Experience with medicinal cannabis treatments and care plans.
  • Experience working in a medical practice or sub-acute setting.

We've helped over 11,000 patients across Australia so far and as we grow and introduce new brands, we want to bring incredible people (like you) on board to grow with us.

At Nectar, you'll be joining a collaborative and vibrant workplace culture and have access to a range of employee benefits including staff discounts, regular team activities, health and wellness events, our brands' merchandise, and more.
