What You'll Be Doing

As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate estimating and cost planning for insurance building works. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects that drive success across the business.

• Prepare accurate estimations for projects, providing detailed reports and quotes.
• Develop comprehensive pricing for project scope of works.
• Coordinate workflows to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Managing projects with multiple trades and completing reports on behalf of insurance companies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure high quality works are completed.
• Enforce health and safety standards on job sites, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols.

The Ideal Candidate

We're seeking someone who brings energy, expertise, and a positive mindset to the role:

• Insurance industry experience –including engaging tradespeople, scheduling workflows, and managing multiple projects.
• Strong estimating and reporting skills – you've scoped, quoted, and delivered.
• Excellent time management – you thrive under pressure and stay organised when things get busy.
• Clear communicator – you're confident working with clients and trades alike, and always bring a can-do attitude.
• Project management pro – you're comfortable managing several jobs at once.
• Bonus points if you have a trade qualification or experience with Prime software.

• This role includes travel throughout Sydney and surrounding suburbs.
• All successful candidates must complete a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process.
• Only candidates with full Australian working rights, an unrestricted Drivers Licence and a White Card will be considered.
