What you'll do
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, cost estimates, and trade packages for metal roofing & cladding.
  • Perform drawing take-offs (roofing, cladding, flashings, insulation, accessories) and build tidy BOQs.
  • Gather, register, and update drawings, tracking addenda and revisions; raise RFIs when needed.
  • Collect supplier/subbie quotes, complete comparisons, and support Senior Estimators with analysis.
  • Visit live sites to build practical knowledge of construction methods and access/safety considerations.
  • Provide admin support while learning estimating fundamentals and HB39/NACC awareness.
  • Actively participate in training constantly building skills, accuracy, and speed.
What we're looking for
  • A recent graduate in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with people and suppliers.
  • Positive, energetic team player keen to learn and grow.
  • Nice to have: Excel (lookups/pivots), Bluebeam or Procore/Hammertech familiarity, NSW White Card, driver's licence.
