The Data Reporting Officer will work as part of the TSH Performance team.

The Finance and Performance Team supports the Sutherland hospital in the delivery of quality, cost effective services and the achievement of business and service objectives. This position ensures the provision of weekly and monthly activity data related to Non Admitted Patient (NAP) activity, SNAP, Acute and ED. The Data Reporting Officer will be requested to do adhoc reporting for the organisation.

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated experience in capturing data from multiple sources and collating into a single meaningful repository.

2. Demonstrated understanding of the information captured in the hospitals primary information systems, specifically iPM, eMR and HERO.

3. Advance computer skills required to manipulate large amounts of data, as well proficient in Microsoft applications

4. Working knowledge of the Health Information Exchange and EDWARD data warehouses. Prepared to learn and quickly adapt to new data warehouse software and SQL queries

5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to achieve agreed outcomes including adherence to strict time lines.

6. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach
