Sydney Pile Cages specialises in fabrication of pile cages and dealing with a multitude of foundation mechanisms for all construction projects.

Sydney Pile Cages handles both loads bearing welded joints and non-bearing welded joints of prefabricated cages. We have been contracted for numerous projects across Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, and Newcastle from private development projects to larger and complex government projects,. Currently we are looking for two full time experienced Welders who have a combination of experience in welding and piling cage to join our team at Blacktown, NSW.

To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Ability to work autonomously and to a deadline
  • At least three years' experience as a welder
  • Experience in welding is a must and experience in piling cage is highly regarded
  • Have strong communication skills
  • A team player and ability to work unsupervised

Your daily duties will include:

  • Interpret blueprints and drawings for welding requirements
  • Determine the layout for welding operations required
  • Determine the appropriate welding procedure and equipment
  • Conduct welding inspections to ensure weld quality is of the highest standard
