We're on the hunt for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our dev team and help shape the mobile, PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch games we develop here at Infinity Plus Two. You'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving gameplay systems that keep players engaged long after launch. Reporting to a producer and working alongside a talented crew of developers, you'll play a key role in ensuring our game runs smoothly, feels great, and surprises players in all the right ways.

This is a full-time position. It is also a hybrid Office/WFH position with 2-3 days per week in our Collins St, Melbourne office (or more if you prefer). We are not taking international applications at this time.

About the role:

Reporting to a producer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining core Unity gameplay systems within a live-ops environment
  • Collaborating with designers, artists, and other engineers to bring new features and content to life
  • Optimizing performance across mobile and PC platforms
  • Debugging and resolving gameplay-related issues
  • Contributing to technical planning and architecture for scalable live systems
  • Supporting content updates, seasonal events, and feature rollouts

About you:

  • Strong experience with Unity
  • Knowledge of client/server architecture will be beneficial
  • An understanding of game systems, and technical constraints
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
  • Skills in other areas of game dev are a bonus
