Our Moorabbin store is a family-owned business, looking for a detail-focused part-time Embroidery Machine Operatorto join our supportive team. We are also open to hiring this as a full-time role for the right person.

About You

You'll thrive in a busy environment and take pride in producing products people love to wear.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Operating embroidery machines and direct-to-film heat press to decorate garments, hats, bags and more
  • Setting up and adjusting designs using embroidery software (training will be provided)
  • Preparing garments, selecting threads, and framing for stitching
  • Managing orders and deadlines efficiently
  • Communicating with customers to confirm their design needs
  • Maintaining a tidy workspace and keeping machines running smoothly
  • Supporting our sales team with covering the shop floor when needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Detail-oriented and quick to fix things that aren't quite right
  • Experience in sewing and/or clothing alterations is highly regarded
  • Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new software
  • A sharp eye for detail and strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Have an interest in textiles, design, or hands-on creative work
  • Availability for part-time hours, including a rotational Saturday shift

Preferred, But Not Essential:

  • Embroidery or garment decoration experience would be helpful, however we'll train the right person (we value attitude and willingness to learn over years of experience)
  • Driver's license and reliable transport
  • Knowledge of workwear and safety gear would be a plus
