About the role
We are seeking 2 Lead Technicians to join our team in preparation for our extra busy season in December/ January and our expected growth in 2026.
As a Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality carpet cleaning services to our residential and commercial clients in the local area. This is a hands-on role that requires physical work, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Work efficiently and effectively on your own and with a team.
- Follow policies & procedures
- Inspect and assess items to be cleaned for damage, stains, and specific cleaning requirements, providing recommendations to clients as needed
- Uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service, addressing client concerns and questions with professionalism and courtesy.
- Complete regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Participate in fortnightly team meetings by presenting opportunities, challenges & solutions, to enhance service quality, and contribute to the
- company's growth initiatives.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Complete training in carpet, upholstery and other cleaning services from Diamond Carpet Cleaning and professional cleaning schools
- Preparation of daily paperwork and invoices/ receipt of payment from customers
- Support, encourage, teach & guide other team members when working as a team
What we're looking for
- Experience in the cleaning industry is and advantage but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate & encourage team members towards achieving performance targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Valid car licence (C class) required (preferably manual)
- Must hold a valid C class or higher driving licence
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and household items
- Must demonstrate high level physical fitness for demanding work requirements
- A clean criminal history
- Must maintain a clean driving record with no major offences
- Available Monday – Friday 7:45 am to 6 pm
- Available for occasional evening and weekend work (paid as overtime)P
