Service Technician

Join a global leader in industrial rental solutions Our client specialises in oil-free, high-pressure, energy-saving compressed air applications and is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their Welshpool branch.

What You'll Do

• Service and maintain compressors & generators
• Manage jobs via ERP system and keep accurate service records
• Travel locally and interstate when required
• Keep equipment, vehicles, and service areas in top condition
• Support customers with professional, timely service
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become breakdowns
• Assist with equipment installations and commissioning at customer sites
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting advice to customers over the phone or on-site
• Train customers on safe and efficient equipment use when required
• Collaborate with the branch team to improve service processes and share best practices
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations at all times

What You'll Bring

• Mechanical/electrical trade qualifications
• Strong diagnostic skills with diesel/electric compressors & generators
• Field service experience, able to work independently
• Valid driver's licence
• Safety-first mindset & solid communication skills
• Refrigeration and / or electrical experience will be highly regarded
• Ability to travel from time to time

This role offers a competitive high base salary with a 10% annual bonus, plus valuable benefits such as income protection insurance and birthday leave. You'll enjoy a healthy work-life balance with core hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, while still having the chance to take on occasional remote travel for variety.
