About the Job

As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic communications campaigns across a prestigious portfolio of luxury, lifestyle, travel, beauty, and hospitality brands. You will work closely with Account Directors to ensure the smooth delivery of campaigns, while taking hands-on ownership of client comms, day-to-day execution, media outreach, reporting and supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for your clients, maintaining strong communication and trust and ensuring the delivery of campaigns that align with their brand goals.
  • Supporting the development and execution of strategic communication plans, with responsibility for timelines, resourcing and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Leading the day-to-day running of accounts, preparing WIP notes, running client meetings (independently or with senior support) and reporting.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with media, influencers, and brand partners across luxury, travel, hospitality, and beauty.
  • Proactive pitching and follow up with media to ensure expected media coverage is realised.
  • Delivering strong earned media results across print, digital, broadcast, and social platforms.
  • Managing media events, shoots, interviews, and brand activations from concept through to execution, often in collaboration with vendors, creatives, and producers.
  • Supporting Account Directors and overseeing junior team members, providing clear delegation, mentoring and support to ensure campaign success and professional growth.
  • Tracking performance and producing post-campaign and post-event reporting with clear metrics and actionable insights.
  • Ensuring accurate time tracking and adherence to budgets across client work.
  • Supporting new business efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations and case studies.

About You

You're an experienced PR Account Manager with a genuine passion for lifestyle and luxury brands. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are known for your ability to manage detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Confident, organised, and solutions-focused, you take ownership of your work and are motivated to deliver outstanding results for both your clients and team.

You'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience across luxury, lifestyle, travel, liquor or hospitality brands.
  • A solid understanding of the Australian media landscape, with strong existing media and influencer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Confidence in managing client relationships, running meetings and being a trusted advisor.
  • Strong project and time management skills – able to manage competing deadlines and multiple clients with efficiency and calm.
  • A collaborative mindset and leadership skills, with experience guiding junior team members.
  • Proficiency in social media trends and platforms, with a broader understanding of how digital integrates into PR strategies.
  • A passion for culture, creativity, and storytelling that cuts through.
