We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented afternoon shift Industrial Cleaners to join our team in a high-volume food production facility located in Yatala. This essential role is responsible for maintaining the highest hygiene standards throughout the site, ensuring full compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and OH&S protocols.

You will need to be able to work autonomously, be motivated, reliable and have experience cleaning food production areas.

You will work with a small team to ensure the daily clean is completed in compliance with HACCP standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cleaning of production areas, equipment, machinery, and surfaces
  • Use industrial-grade cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with procedures
  • Complete cleaning records
  • Identify and report any hazards, unsafe practices, or maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and storage areas
  • Work collaboratively with production and QA teams to uphold hygiene standards

To be successful you will:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, preferably within food production or manufacturing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and chemical handling procedures (HACCP knowledge desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing)
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

  • Hold a full driver's license and have a reliable car
  • Have a current forklift licence
