Mechanical Engineering Intern

We're looking for an undergraduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Yatala, Gold Coast in November/December 2025. This role is part-time and we are looking for someone who can commit to 2-3 days per week. To be eligible, you'll need to hold Australian or New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.

Your Impact
As a key member of our innovative team, you will:

• Create and Innovate: Engage in building prototypes of cutting-edge switchgear designs and participate in conducting comprehensive design verification tests.
• Collaborate on Subsystems: Assist in constructing and testing mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems, playing a vital role in our pioneering engineering efforts.
• Plan and Execute Tests: Collaboratively write test plans based on functional requirement specifications and IEC standards to ensure our projects meet the highest specifications.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyze test data rigorously, leveraging programming skills to automate data analysis, and contribute to insightful engineering judgements on system performance.
• Craft Comprehensive Reports: Document and present test reports that capture essential findings and highlight areas of improvement for optimized engineering solutions.
