AMS eGroup is a leading e-commerce logistics and customs clearance provider with over 20 years of experience, serving major clients in the ecommerce space. With 100 employees across Australia and New Zealand, we're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team and help support our growing workforce.
Role Overview
We're seeking a strategic HR Manager to oversee our human resources functions on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will help maintain our positive company culture while implementing efficient HR processes across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with our business objectives
* Manage full-cycle recruitment process for various departments (Operations, Customer Service, Management)
* Oversee and enhance our 30-day employee onboarding program
* Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
* Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws
* Manage seasonal staffing increases (30% during peak seasons)
* Coordinate learning and development initiatives
* Oversee employee benefits administration
* Support management team with HR-related matters
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* 5+ years of HR management experience
* Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or similar fast-paced environments
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR best practices
* Proven track record in developing and implementing HR policies
* Experience with seasonal workforce planning and management
Desired Skills
* AHRI certification preferred
* Experience with HR technology and HRIS systems
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Experience in multicultural workplace environments
* Change management experience

Working Hours
* 15-20 hours per week
* Flexible scheduling with core hours to be discussed
* Occasional additional hours during peak seasons (November-December)
The annual salary advertised will be converted into a part time equivalent once weekly hours are agreed with the successful candidate
