Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial Textile Cutter Machinist located in Brendale, QLD. The Industrial Textile Cutter Machinist will be responsible for cutting and preparing textile materials according to specifications, ensuring precision and quality. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting patterns, setting up and operating cutting machines, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating textile cutting machinery and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret patterns and technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and precision in fabric cutting
  • Knowledge of different types of textiles and materials
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for sewing machines
  • Experience in the textile or manufacturing industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
